Assignment#12: Texture With Layer Mode
To do this task , I first had to find a picture of a business suit and a texture of any kind. Then, I selected the jacket using the magnetic lasso tool. after that, i then had to copy the selected area into a new layer in order to make a clipping mask to make the texture layer visible. I then proceeded to lower the opacity of the texture layer to give it a more realistic effect towards the jacket and i'm finished.
Assignment # 11: Flyer
Today, i was asked to create a flyer advertising a club I signed up for in the Club Fair. I decided to join the Spartans Taekwondo club just to give it a try and it really wasn't that bad. So what i did was first go to Adobe Photoshop and create a new file that was 4x6 with 100 resolution to give it a portrait format. Then, I applied a gradient to form the background as shown in the right. Next, I applied the text tool to make the title and thorough description of why people should join Taekwondo. I then edited the title to give it a tinted glass effect and I also put in some pictures that go with the club and edited them both with magic wand tool to delete excess white background and also to let the gradient show. And Voila! it's finished!
